Amino-Acid Cleansing System

INCI: e.g. Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate
Cleanses gentlyPreserves barrierLow irritation

Mild, amino-acid-derived cleansers that lift away impurities without stripping the barrier, the base of every SENSCERA cleanser.

What it is

Traditional cleansers often rely on high-irritancy sulfates that clean well but strip the barrier, leaving skin tight and 'squeaky'. Amino-acid-based surfactants are derived from amino acids like glycine and sarcosine, are closer to skin's own chemistry, and clean effectively at a skin-friendly pH.

How it works

Cleans without stripping

They remove oil, pollution and impurities while leaving more of the skin's own protective lipids intact, so skin feels clean and comfortable, not tight.

Foam gently through MicroFoamTech

Engineered into a fine microfoam, they wet into skin's micro-texture and lift debris with minimal mechanical rubbing, keeping the whole process low-irritation.

The evidence

Amino-acid surfactants are well documented as milder, more barrier-friendly alternatives to sulfates, particularly suited to sensitive skin and frequent cleansing.

Works well with

The cleansing base that carries soothing (Centella, Allantoin) and balancing (Zinc PCA) actives in SENSCERA cleansers.

Who it's for

Everyone, and essential for sensitive, dry or barrier-compromised skin, and for kids.

Worth knowing

A cleanser is the most-used step in any routine, so getting its gentleness right matters more than any single leave-on active.

Evidence tiers reflect the general weight of published cosmetic-science literature on this ingredient, not a claim about any individual SENSCERA product.
