What it is
Mandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from almonds. Its defining trait is size: it is a larger molecule than glycolic or lactic acid, so it penetrates more slowly and evenly. That makes it the gentlest, most patient AHA, effective on tone and texture with less of the sting and irritation smaller acids can cause.
How it works
