What it is
Ferulic acid is an antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants like rice, oats and apples. It is valued for two things: it is a capable free-radical scavenger in its own right, and it markedly stabilises and boosts the performance of vitamins C and E, which is why the three are so often formulated together.
